Do Book Club

The Do Book Club (ran by publishing house Do Book Co.) is a place where their books come to life and their community comes together. Members of the club receive a Do Book through their letterbox each month, then gather round for a live conversation between that month's author and another inspiring writer. 

Our founder, Dominic Wilcox, was chosen to chat to January's featured author Gavin Strange, author of Do Fly. Do Fly is a book aiming to inspire, an all-in-one guide, ticket, and passport to a new destination of creativity and fulfilment. Do Book Co. also published Dominic's The Skimming Stone, an illustrated short story about courage, self-belief, and optimism. 

On the 25th of January, for the listening pleasure of the Do Book audience, Dominic and Gavin enjoyed an in-depth discussion about creativity and career. They meditated on the concept of creativity and creative practises, discussed the importance of childlike fun, and touched on the idea of legacy.
