Girls Assemble Bring Your Invention to Life! Workshops
Calling all parents of aspiring inventors! Girls Assemble UK CIC believe that the power to shape the future lies in the hands of our talented young minds. That's why we're thrilled to be collaborating with them, offering a remarkable opportunity for girls aged 9 to 12 to unleash their creativity and turn their innovative ideas into reality.
We understand the challenges girls face when it comes to recognising the potential of STEM and construction industries. But it's time to break the mould! By participating in our workshops, your daughter will embark on a transformative journey of problem-solving, empowerment, and self-discovery.
Guided by our Head of Projects & Events Ellie, your daughter will learn how to channel her creativity and develop practical solutions to real-world problems. By exploring the exciting world of invention, she will gain invaluable skills, critical thinking abilities, and the confidence to pursue her dreams.
During the sessions, we'll dive into the captivating art of building prototypes using readily available materials like cardboard and recycled materials. Through hands-on activities and guidance from our talented instructors, your daughter will discover the endless possibilities that lie within everyday objects.
We are really lucky to be hosting these sessions at Roots Press, a creative print studio specialising in Riso printing. It's a really inspirational space and located on the beautiful grounds of Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Porthtowan.
Little Inventors and Girls Assemble strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all participants. We welcome self-identified girls, trans-girls, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth, ensuring that everyone feels empowered to explore their creative potential.
When
There will be 4 sessions. Each session will take place on Wednesday 21st June, 5th, 12th and 19th July at 4.30pm to 6pm (there is no session on 28th May).
Who
The workshops are for girls age 9 to 12 years. Maximum 12 participants.

Roots Press, Unit 2, Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Porthtowan, TR4 8HL.
How much
£25 for all 4 sessions. We have free places available if you are unable to pay for the workshops.
