Museum of London Archikids Weekend
We celebrated the amazing architecture in the City at this free fun-filled family festival ran by Museum of London with Open City's Archikids festival and the City of London Corporation.
We took over the West Smithfield Rotunda Gardens on Saturday 22 July 2017 as part of the archikids weekend. We invited children to create a vision of what a city of the future could look like, first by drawing their clever, funny, unexpected and ingenious ideas and then creating models which were then added to our flying cityscape. As ever, there was no limits to our Little Inventors imagination, and we were truly delighted to welcome to our invention family such wonders as the choccy biccy locator, broccoli tunnel shoot and moustache puff, amongst many others.
This event was part of the Museum of London's City Now City Future season and in collaboration with City of London.
