Powering the Future Creativity Workshop: Hebburn Central
During our exciting Powering the Future Creativity Workshops, children will use their imagination to create ways to generate renewable energy & learn prototyping techniques to bring inventions to life.
This workshop is taking place at Hebburn Central Library on July 30th. This modern library is host to a number of local history and family events.
We are well into the second year of the Powering the Future project. During year one, we brought to life eight amazing ideas and held an exhibition at The Word to show all of them off and much more!
The challenge is in partnership with South Tyneside Council and the new, extraordinary Dogger Bank Wind Farm which is being constructed off the North East coast.
The free workshops will explore the role and importance of renewable energy and why it is a crucial part of the solution to climate change.
Participating children will enjoy a hands-on session of learning, imagining, and making.
