Tabletochki 'The Kind Hospital' Challenge
Charitable foundation Tabletochki have been supporting children with cancer for 8 years. During this time, they have provided targeted help to more than 3,500 children in Ukraine.
What do we do?
We provide families with medicines, psychological support, accommodation and palliative care. Also, we systematically supply medicines which are missing from public procurement to 17 pediatric oncological departments in Ukraine and help doctors and nurses gain new knowledge in pediatric oncology.
We make everything possible so that Ukrainian children could be cured of cancer. We fully understand that not only medical treatment affects recovery. We want all children to remain ambitious dreamers and brave creators! To achieve this every year we organize a big Cancer Survivors Day for those children who have already recovered from cancer or are still on their way to recovery.
During this journey, one of the most important things is to keep believing in miracles and not to forget that there is always a place for dreams.
During the Cancer Survivor Day festivities, which took place on September 15, 2019, we challenged the children to come up with something cool and creative to make the stay in hospitals less stressful and more comfortable. Our challenge - The Kind Hospital - helped make a hospital a more friendly and better place to stay where no one forgets about the joys of carefree childhood.
